Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) and Inland Fisheries and Wildlife (IFW) Updates

Due to numerous issues when re-registering any type of motor vehicle, trailer, boat, ATV, Snowmobile -

the BMV and IFW are strongly urging you to bring in your previous registration when re-registering any of the above vehicles or the license plate number.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to re-register them without it.

Licenses:
When obtaining a fishing or hunting license, please bring in your Maine driver's license and your previous license.
