Cost Sharing Committee
The Select Board on November 17, 2025, voted to create a Cost Sharing Committee. This committee will have 2 at-large members from New Gloucester and will join two members from Town of Gray and a representative from the School Board Directors from each Town, for a total of six. Currently costs are shared based on the state valuation for each municipality. Gray voters asked to reconsider the method of sharing costs to an alternative method based on number of students attending school from each municipality.
If you would like to join the Cost Sharing Committee, please complete the Board and Committee Application, and submit to Sharlene Myers by Wednesday, November 25th. You may drop off your application to the New Gloucester Town Office or by emailing it to smyers@newgloucester.com.
